ZUP Baden-Württemberg

Welcome to the homepage of ZUP Baden-Württemberg

The project  Z(ecken) U(mwelt) P(athogene) Baden-Württemberg (ticks, environment, pathogens) is a interdisciplinary project, in which experts from different fields work together to investigate the ecology of ticks and tick-borne diseases in Baden-Württemberg. Our goal is to find out which abiotic (climate, weather, soil) and biotic (hosts, vegetation) factors play a role in the distribution and dynamic of ticks and the pathogens they transmit.

Our project is funded by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector Baden-Württemberg and its funding program BWPLUS.
